Red Hills is perhaps the best up and coming AVA on the planet. Actually it’s already here and being celebrated but if it’s new to you - welcome and enjoy your stay!  Hailing from well-drained vineyards rich in black obsidian, quartz crystals and volcanic gravel the name of the AVA takes its name from the striking red soil.  They just flat out produce some of the best Cabernet around.

If you are a “Super Freak” from “Funky Town” and are just “So Excited” for some “Night Fever” than you probably wore Go Go Boots and/or Bell-Bottoms and did some serious partying.  But if you didn’t it’s OK.  You can hop onto the “Double Dutch Bus” while doing the “Hustle” into some, Disco Thunder.  All the cool kids are doing it.

This wine is all Afro, mustache, disco ball, fur coat and groove.  It quivers in the glass with succulent blue fruit flavors and spicy cherry.  Mounds of round-layered flavors of currant, mocha and blackberry lend themselves perfectly to beautiful tendrils of cedar and dessert spices.  It drinks like the Village People – A little fruity with a lot going on and everyone likes it whether they want to admit it or not.  You dig?
