It’s flippin’ Diamond Mountain people.  Seriously, where are you going to find wine with such heroic roots anywhere even close to this price?  I’ll tell you where, Neverland but you’ll have to wear tights and fight pirates so… just buy this one.  

This drop the mike blend is the color of Prince’s purple cape after he’s bathed in the glory of brining crowds to their knees with his silver tongue.  And that’s just the color.  This wine has a sweet, fat thing going on that offers sublime succulent tannins with a core of black raspberry and currant jam served out of a cedar jug.  It’s not all skipping naked through the berry patch though.  There are also nuances of crushed rock, pipe tobacco and roasted carnitas.  Even a soupçon of warm white chocolate stirred gently with a Southern Magnolia finds its place in this liquid effigy to greatness.
