With the color of a Dead Moon dipped in oil this wine is dense and unctuous with gobs of fruit. Blackcurrant, boysenberry, blueberry compote smothered on roasted pork, spice box, chocolate covered cherry… Shall I go on? It’s got a lot going on. It shows extreme intensity but has a mouth feel that is softer than a baby chick. This is a fascinating blend of five varietals that were masterfully blended. This is a monster but the kind of monster you want to snuggle up with and take a Sunday nap. It’s a Deep Whisper.

We can’t get enough of Calistoga. I mean we literally can’t get enough. Sorry folks, this is a very small release from one of the best vineyards in all of Napa. But if you are reading this, you probably found some so give yourself a pat on the back. You win!
