We don’t claim to have our doctorate in Celestial Mechanics but we do know a thing or two about Moon Ducks and this wine was bottled during a “Strawberry Moon”, which is obviously a universal term to all Algonquin tribes. It was also bottled during a Waxing Crescent, which is about 1% full. So that is all tremendous and helped in delivering liquid perfection.
Darker than a sirens shadow puppet, this brooding broth explodes from the glass with aromas of dark red fruit, baked strawberry, and purple flowers. On the palate, the fruit is intense and devious as it moves from red to blue with black raspberry, crème de cassis, warm leather, and vanillin oak.
